Heart is full

This was a special project to commemorate a wonderful woman that was helpful in our family during an eventful period. Tenzing was always smiling and brought warmth to our home. After many years she is moving back to the east coast, so we decided to make a gift from our hearts. This carved serpentine originally was domed on both sides like most pocket crystal amulets. We flattened the back side of the stone in order to make a pendant that feels comfortable to wear. After a setting was made by hand, we further customized this with a personal engraving. I love the soft color and shape this heart has especially because green is a neutral that can be worn everyday! Fun to know that serpentine is used to clarify the mind and help with meditation.
