Artichoke Ring
A very dear couple that I made a wedding set for reached out to me for their five year anniversary. I was honored that they thought of me to commemorate their married lives. We chatted a bit to see if we can make a ring that celebrates Kristine's beautiful personality.
When I saw their sunny wedding day photos, I noticed that she had a bouquet of artichokes and wildflowers. This was particularly inspiring as her family was one of the first to bring artichokes to California.
I proposed an artichoke ring to commemorate her history and wedding day. This ring was made with 14k rose gold and sunny yellow diamonds featuring a round cut Sphene gemstone. Sphene is a rare green gemstone that has a high refractive index which causes it to sparkle!
They told me that they are excited to pass down this ring to their little one as an heirloom with a lovely family story attached to it.
