"I have some exciting news to share…I proposed to Elaine yesterday, she said 'YES' and now we’re engaged!  I proposed at the footsteps of Coit Tower in the early evening.  Why Coit Tower? Because we went there on our first date exactly 3 ½ years ago, and thus a nice reminiscent spot to bring it to full circle.  And what a beautiful day it was in the city too!  This was all a complete surprise for Elaine-- a covert operation, indeed :)
