Peach Sapphire Ring
Jeanelle and Beto came with an assortment of old jewelry and a large peach colored sapphire. This sapphire has the most stunning hue. To bring out the color of the gem we decided to set it in rose gold which also compliments Jeanelle’s skin tone wonderfully. Isn’t it stunning? Sapphires has been the gem of choice for engagement rings before DeBeers heavily marketed diamonds. Having a big bold ring in a classic setting with refreshing colors is a new look fit for a modern woman. Peachy engraving with wedding date and a cute little message completes this juicy ring.
Most of the old gold was refined and recycled but we decided to keep one of the bands to modify. Originally it was designed to be a ring guard but that would not work with our new sapphire ring and it was uncomfortable to wear anyways. I sawed off the two parts, made a band out of one and added new gold to the bottom half so that it will be more durable.
It was wonderful to see this project come together. Congratulations!
